Youth athletes will compete in the age division based on their age on December 31, 2023 (except per rule 300 - those athletes who turn 18 after the last date of the USATF JO Championships (7/31) will be considered 18). Please note that the system will default to age as of 12/31/2023 - so if you fall into the rule above (Rule 300) you will be manually corrected into the correct age group on the heat sheets). This means if you turn 19 after 7/31 - you will be signing up under the open division but competiting in the 17-18 division. Open & Masters fall into a different age group as it's their age on the day of the meet - your age will be corrected if you jump age groups. Please sign up for the age group the system assigns you to, then look at the heat sheets to know when you will be competiting. Questions email: president@minnesota.usatf.org.
